WHO ARE VENTURA WILDLIFE?

Since Ventura Events was established by founder Ashley Palmier we have strived to give people of all ages the opportunity to experience the magnificence of our planet’s wildlife, whilst contributing towards global conservation efforts in a number of ways.

Ventura Events is one of the leading providers of animal encounters in England, using animals kept at Ventura Gardens (our private animal collection based on the outskirts of North London). Currently we maintain and care for over 45 different species of animals that include many exotic invertebrates, fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals. Of course not all of the species we keep are used for animal encounters and a number of them are part of important captive breeding programmes to ensure the long term survival of many species.

The Ventura Events brand has also become recognised as providing the highest levels of quality and professionalism. All our team have all the relevant qualifications and we hold the necessary insurances, licences and certificates to allow us to operate. We are a proud member of the International Zoo Educators Association (IZE) and we work closely with a number of good zoos around the world. All of us at Ventura Events are extremely proud of what we continue to achieve as we help to raise important awareness and funds for some of the world’s most fragile species.

To date, thanks to your support we have been able to support numerous in-situ and ex-situ conservation projects and wildlife organisations. Some of the conservation projects we have supported to date include those protecting the parrot species of South America & Indonesia, European carnivores, African vultures, as well as big cat and ape species. We hope to provide increased support for conservation during 2012 through Ventura Wildlife Conservation Fund.
