PROUD TO SUPPORT KEEPER CONTACT

What Is Keeper Contact?

Keeper Contact, or KC for short, is an A4 zoological newsletter that was established in 1996, consisting of between three and five double-sided pages. Regular features include zoo news, private collection news, conservation news, zoo profiles, a keepers quiz, zoological articles from various contributors and zoological adverts, announcements, meetings, conferences and open days, although the content is not restricted to these and may include other zoological material and information. Keeper Contact aims to make each issue as interesting and variable as possible for subscribers to enjoy.
Keeper Contact was designed to be a low cost subscription that as regular and up-to-date as possible. Subscribers will receive one newsletter a month and all subscriptions run for a year. Subscribers can, if they wish, put any zoological related adverts in the newsletter at any time and without limit, completely free of charge, as part of the subscription. They can also contribute any material that is deemed suitable for Keeper Contact.
The purpose of Keeper Contact is to promote and support the responsible husbandry of wild animals in captivity through various articles as well as providing a method of contact between like-minded people whilst keeping you in touch with the zoo world.
Who Is It For?

It is for anyone who is seriously interested in zoos and wild animal husbandry (you do not have to be an animal keeper to subscribe), including zoo enthusiasts and zoo historians. It includes many wild animal keepers who work in zoos and those who have private wild animal collections.
Keeper Contact is not for those who are non-reputable animal keepers or those who are against good zoos.
