RECYCLE FOR WILDLIFE CONSERVATION AROUND THE WORLD…

Our freepost recycling bag scheme allows you to responsibly dispose of empty printer cartridges and unwanted mobile phones, PDA’s, Sat Nav devices, MP3 players and digital cameras. Each recyclable item returned helps to raise funds for the important conservation work carried out by the Ventura Wildlife Conservation Fund.

It's Important

RECYCLE FOR WILDLIFE CONSERVATION AROUND THE WORLD…

If we do not recycle many of these items will end up in landfill sites, which is an extremely wasteful and damaging outcome. Take mobile phones for example which contain a substance called coltan. Approximately 80% of all coltan is mined and extracted from the forests of the Congo Basin which is home to many endangered plants and animals such the lowland gorilla. This mining has led to widespread deforestation, habitat destruction and an increase in illegal poaching and the bush-meat trade.Recycle Ventura Conservation.

This simple and free scheme is an excellent way for you to support wildlife conservation and it also means you’ll be doing your bit for the environment as your items won’t end up in landfill sites.
